Research Interests

Radio waves are an excellent way to probe the magnetic fields that permeate the Universe.  My research team has leveraged the Arecibo Observatory and Green Bank Telescope to search for radio flares from low-mass stars, brown dwarfs, and exoplanets.  We continue to search for radio emission from ever-colder brown dwarfs, explore the the relationships between solar, low-mass star, and planetary magnetic dynamos, and investigate how magnetism influences star and planet formation.
