Research Interests

My research work is concerned with theoretical study of the
collective states of nuclei. In the past we studied such states in
the framework of the “Deformed Configuration Mixing Shell Model”. In
recent years, I have been collaborating with colleagues at Oak Ridge
National Lab to use the available experimental information on
collective quadrupole transitions to test the predictions of recent
theoretical models. I am also interested in Fractal models for
Physical phenomena.
